The EQ1001S101-7 (also known as EQ1001S101) is an Eaton Innovative Technology Equalizer 2 surge protective device (SPD) listed to UL 1449 4th Edition. Part of Eaton’s System Shield protection solution, the Equalizer 2 is available in all common voltages and configurations with peak surge current capacity ratings from 50 through 200 kA per phase. The compact design and NEMA 4X enclosure allow installation in a variety of commercial and industrial environments, including service entrances, distribution panelboards, and point-of-use applications. Features thermally protected MOV technology, tri-colored LED protection status indicators, 200 kA SCCR, and a 5-year warranty extendable to 10 years.
